New Every Morning

We have recently had to make difficult decisions regarding my husband's business.
Heart wrenching is an understatement.
As a result, uncertainty, anger and resentment have reared their ugly heads!
Pain, sadness and anxiousness seem to prevail.

Beautiful sunrises remind me of God's mercies and how they never end.
They are new every morning.
We have hope.
I praise God for who He is and what He has done!!

22It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not
23They are new every morning; great and abundant is Your stability and faithfulness
24The Lord is my portion or share, says my living being (my inner self); therefore will I hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him
25The Lord is good to those who wait hopefully and expectantly for Him, to those who seek Him [inquire of and for Him and require Him by right of necessity and on the authority of God's word].
26It is good that one should hope in and wait quietly for the salvation (the safety and ease) of the Lord
Lamentations 3:22-26

but hope you will be unburdened in faith and community
that you shared so humbly is a gift

  4. The Psalms are replete with the phrase "YET I have hope..."
We hope in His mercies, in His power to overcome, we hope IN SPITE OF the horrible circumstances that worry us and hurt us. Thanks so much for sharing your story of "YET I have hope..."

  5. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" May you find that peace in leaning on Him to carry you through your burden.

  8. Sending prayers your way. What an inspiration to read this plea in a time of uncertainty. In the Message translation it reads- God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. Beautiful words of comfort for life. Let us know if we can do anything!
