Mud

It started with a few raindrops.
Then a deluge of water!
At first, the mommy in me said, "You can't play in the mud. Think of the stains and dirty hands!!"
But they were enjoying the moment.
So, I gave in...
and enjoyed it too!

It ended with with this.
The assurance that God is the ultimate promise keeper!!

I'm unwrapping this moment with Emily at Chatting at the Sky!!

  6. There is not much that is more fun than mud squishing between toes and fingers and freedom to actually play in the rain! You are a wonderful momma.

  7. I'm sure they will remember that freedom and joy, and hopefully you'll forget the extra laundry :)

What's a little extra mess in light of a beautiful muddy memory anyway? :)
