Blessed

We've all been there.

The good times-a land that is plentiful.

The bad times-when the darkness closes in.

Help us to remember that God is the only constant in this life.

He NEVER changes.

His love is ALWAYS there.

He IS the GREAT I AM!

Thoughtful Tuesday

This past weekend was filled with hopping, hiding, finding and eating sweet treats.

Most of all we rejoiced that we serve a risen Savior.

What a MIGHTY God we serve.

John 1:14

The Word became flesh
and
made his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory,
the glory of the one and only Son,
who came from the Father,
full of grace
and
truth.

Good Friday

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead...

A GrEaT DaY for a PiCnIc

Yesterday was a lovely day for a picnic.

We had only one child at home as the other 2 were off gallivanting with friends.

So we spread the blanket, prepared snacks and poured the apple juice.

The sun kissed our faces and warmed our toes.

Hearing
"I love you Mommy"
over and over
was music to my ears!

Our time together was beautiful and sweet.

I couldn't think of a better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.

STOP

Taking time out of this day,

which is extremely busy I might add,

to

Be still

and

know that

He

is

God.

How about you?

Psalm 46:10

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

Learning Day by Day

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast
all the more gladly
about my weaknesses,
so that Christ's power may rest on me.

Looking UP

Keep looking up toward the Son!

Psalm 121

A song of ascents.

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
