Show and Tell Time

Align Center

It's Show and Tell Time at A Familiar Path.
We spotted this grasshopper on a nature walk this weekend.
Since I am saving for a DSLR, I have only my trusty point and shoot camera.
Using the macro setting, I just held and breath and snapped away.
Swing by A Familiar Path and check out all the photographer's shots!

  1. Wow two grasshoppers at show and tell, what a coincidence, they seem to be a great subject for some macro shots, wonder where I can find one...

Love the photos, the grasshopper looks pretty big, unless those are really small leaves. Lots more practice for me over the next week I think!

  6. Wow. Those are really great pictures! I am with Lacy. The glass door separating me and the grasshopper would be the only way I could take the pictures. I get kind of itchy and feel like bugs are on me. Thanks for your suggestion on my blog about the "Cable Box Disguise". I looked at the trays and that just might work! Have a great day, my Friend!

  7. Nice shot! But blech, crunchy bugs are extra creepy, especially if they hop!
