Yesterday I opened the freezer to find this peeking at me!!
And I laughed!
I wondered which one of the kiddos put the half eaten apple in the freezer and also if they really thought it would be edible later.
Then I breathed a prayer of thanks for the the little hands who placed the frozen apple in the freezer and the smile it brought to my face!!

how cute, it is interesting to see where kids put things when they are finished with them! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect moment. . .The innocence of children never fails to bring things crashing back into perspective.
ReplyDeleteMade me smile too! What will we do when things like apples don't pop up in the freezer? Probably wish that they sure would!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
The fact that you saw it as a gift speaks well of you. And then you shared the smile of it with us too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, and I'll be looking for more of these hidden bright spots.
At least it was an apple and not something even more interesting (if your house is anything like mine it could have been much worse). . .this post really made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the apple. Once I went to the VCR (yes, it was 20 years ago, so before DVD's) and Cody had place ever so gently a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the video slot.
ReplyDeleteokay! next time i see a half-full glass of milk in my fridge i will breathe a prayer for the one who put it there (and she does it a lot, and thinkgs she'll remember to drink it and never does!)
ReplyDeletei love your apple :)
too sweet! i love the prayer!
ReplyDeleteI don't have kids but I have a husband :) And I need to remember to be grateful when I find things in funny places, so thank you!
