Guard your heart

you do
flows from it.
Proverbs 4:23

Today we are plugging along in our studies.

I say we because I am learning along side my children.

Educating children at home has allowed me to redeem my education.

This week our focus ranges from the Industrial Age, percentages to the definition of an element.

So as we train the brain to retain, we also try to remember to guard our heart

because it is

the wellspring of life.

The essence of who we are is found in our hearts.

May we find that our hearts beat in sync with our Father's today.

  1. I admire you for teaching at home:) I know that my poor tired brain couldn't do it! Enjoy your day my friend, HUGS!

  2. One thing about being the teacher: You are always the learner at the same time. That's why I love to teach. I love to learn and relearn.

And that Bible verse happens to be one of my favorites. It's one that I have impressed not only on my own heart but very strongly to my daughters.

  3. I need to come and sit in a few of your classes! I need the training to retain! Love and miss you, sweet friend!

  4. My hats off to you, I don't know how you do it. I was homeschooled as a kid and I STILL have no idea how my mother managed all 5 of us!
