A Reminder

Have you ever been in need of a reminder?

What's your purpose in this life?

Are you on the right path?

These questions needed answers.

So I went to the Word!

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105

Hiding God's word in your heart comes in handy when you're struggling.

He led me to Ephesians 2:10.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works...

Thank you God!!

Lately I've been

Wondering

Searching

Being silent

Questioning

Praying

Crying

So now while I wait and listen, I will trust.

Vowing not to listen to the enemies lies!

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yields no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls,

yet I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
God, the Lord is my strength:

he makes my feet like the deer's:
he makes me tread on high places.

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Proverbs 16:20

Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who
TRUSTS in the LORD.

I ALWAYS need a reminder! Thank you for bringing it to me. . . so often! How is it so hard to forget or push aside the MOST important things?

  3. First, I'm reading in this that you are in a place where you need friends to lift you in prayer. I recognize it because I'm there too. I will put you in my prayer journal and lift you.

Second, Ephesians 2:10 is my all time favorite verse. My older daughter even used it as the basis for her her speech at (high school) graduation. (Can I just say that that was one wonderful surprise blessing for me?) We are God's masterpiece. Just imagine it, Kelli.

And third, I loved your post and stand very convicted by it. Thank you, blog friend, for the REMINDER.

(I'm going to study that last Proverb this morning!)
