The desire for "stuff" distracts.
The quest for perfection is a joy robber!
Lets enjoy what we have without yearning for more!

So true. I am making an effort to simplify my life, get rid of what I don't need. In the process I have discovered that I am more in tune with the world around me, with family members and friends.
