After a glorious, long and relaxing week putting our toes in the Gulf of Mexico, we are home.
Sunshine, glittery white sand and clear blue water made us giddy with excitement. Long bike rides around the resort were just what I needed to pray and clear my mind of all the mess that had accumulated over the past few months.
Nothing like a vacation to refresh, renew and relax a mind and body.
We are thankful to have had the opportunity to get away.
Today we'll begin school, clean, clean, clean and prepare for a huge yard sale we're having this weekend.
Have a lovely Monday. As soon as I get around to it, I'll post pictures from our trip.
How wonderful, Kelli. I hope you do post pictures so I can vicariously experience it. My family is in need of a good vacation. We were out of town this week too, but it wasn't a beach gulf getaway!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! It sounds like it was FABULOUS. I can't WAIT to see some pictures of those beachy kiddos!
ReplyDeleteWe all need a break from day to day activies that we all have to deal with and those of us like you that have more to deal with then some of us. I know I feel the need to get away from my girls and they are all adults and mothers themselves but still they demand a lot from me and their father.
