Hello...anybody out there?


How in the world have you been?
Has it truly been 3 years since I've checked in?
Better late than never I always say!


Life has been zooming by at an alarming pace.
God remains the ROCK in our lives as we have experienced faith testing trials over the past 3 years.
He has carried us through them and given us a fresh perspective on what it means to serve Him even in the
bad times.

Hope you and yours are living life in Him.

Laughing and Crying with HOPE

THIS made me cry.



This made me laugh!





THIS gave me hope.

Whatever a man’s past life may have been, there is hope and a remedy for him in Christ. If he is only willing to hear Christ’s voice and follow Him, Christ is willing to receive him at once as a friend, and to bestow on him the fullest measure of mercy and grace. The Samaritan woman, the penitent thief, the Philippian jailor, the tax-collector Zaccheus, are all patterns of Christ’s readiness to show mercy, and to confer full and immediate pardons. It is His glory that, like a great physician, He will undertake to cure those who are apparently incurable, and that none are too bad for Him to love and heal. Let these things sink down into our hearts. Whatever else we doubt, let us never doubt that Christ’s love to sinners passes knowledge, and that Christ is as willing to receive as He is almighty to save.

Today we are plugging along in our studies.

I say we because I am learning along side my children.

Educating children at home has allowed me to redeem my education.

This week our focus ranges from the Industrial Age, percentages to the definition of an element.

So as we train the brain to retain, we also try to remember to guard our heart

because it is

the wellspring of life.

The essence of who we are is found in our hearts. 

May we find that our hearts beat in sync with our Father's today.

Hiking, Ten and the LIGHT







We were able to get away and enjoy a hike at Chimney Rock Park.

The weather was perfect.
The trees were beautiful.
The waterfalls were gorgeous.

The kids did not complain once about the moderately difficult hike.
Sophie made it all the way to the top with little or no help from Mom or Dad.
WOW!

My precious first born turned 10 last week.
I am in disbelief that ten years have past since she made me a mother for the first time.
I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming.
I pray she will continue to walk in the Light.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:7
